With Electric Picnic 2016 still fresh in our memories, the festival has announced ticket sales for next year.
Tickets for 2017 (September 1-3 2017) will go on sale this Friday, September 9th from Ticketmaster at 9am with the ‘discount reward scheme’ as well as a three part instalment plan.
Capacity of 55,000 is to stay the same in 2017. Full details below:
Loyalty Discount
To be eligible for a discount, you will need to prove you’ve been before and in return you’ll get the discount code. The full discount is available to customers who have attended any three previous Picnics. For those who have purchased from Ticketmaster online in the past will receive a code direct from Ticketmaster. For everyone else or if you don’t automatically receive a discount code, three of one type of proof mentioned below or any combination from different years of proofs of purchase and/or attendance will be required.
Please fill in the Electric Picnic code request form. To guarantee you get a discount code for Electric Picnic 2017, please submit your code request by 5pm Thursday 27th October 2016.
For those that have attended any 2 or less Picnics only one type of proof mentioned below will be required should you wish to request a code.
- Bank statement showing debit for ticket (Security details etc. can be blanked out so just the name/address and Electric Picnic purchase show).
- Photos of customer on site which indicate different year e.g. if two photos then they should have changed slightly in appearance, hair style, age and so forth.
- Screen shots of Facebook or other social media showing messages or pictures supporting the claim and indicating the year.
- Wristbands, ticket stubs, official merchandise or programmes from different years (must also show customer holding or wearing them and customers face must be visible to identify – random pictures of wristbands etc. will not be accepted).
- Travel or local (to festival) accommodation receipt (dated).
Customers wishing to purchase from Ticketmaster outlets should bring along any of the above 3 forms of proof in order to avail of the discount.
Tickets for this offer are limited to 2 per person, per transaction, per household, per credit card. Bookings over the limit will be cancelled. Weekend camping at the standard early bird price have a ticket limit of 6. To prevent touting Campervan tickets can only be purchased with an entry ticket. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any booking we think may be sold on for profit.

Instalment Plans
Instalment plans are available online for all Weekend Camping ticket prices to any customer wishing to take advantage of a payment plan.

Your initial deposit and service charge will be charged upon purchase. Your 2nd payment/instalment will be made on or around Tuesday 1st November and your 3rd and final payment/instalment will be processed on or around Thursday 1st December 2016.

Please note the payments details here are non-refundable. Should you fail to make the 3 payments successfully or decide you no longer wish to go to Electric Picnic you will not be entitled to a refund of sums that have been paid.
Please note that tickets are subject to availability. The loyalty scheme (and use of discount codes) will end at Monday, 31st October 5pm or in the event of a sell-out of the allocation, whichever comes first. A discount code or request for a discount code does not guarantee a ticket purchase and tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis. Requests for codes are dealt with on a first come first serve basis and requests without obvious proof may take longer to research, process and return codes. We cannot guarantee to supply a discount code requested after 5pm on Thursday, 27th October. The number of available discounted tickets are limited and receipt of a discount code does not guarantee a purchase of a ticket(s). Tickets may sell out before the stated deadlines.
Phone and Internet bookings are subject to 12.5% service charge per ticket (Max €6.10).
Family ticket holders are asked to register their children here before arriving at the festival.
