The Ivor Novello (Ivors) is an award that celebrates songwriting by British and Irish artists and composers.
Two Irish acts are nominated in categories – Fontaines D.C. are nominated for their album A Hero’s Death and For Those I Love’s ‘Top Scheme’ has been nominated for best contemporary song.
Fontaines D.C. are nominated alongside Pa Salieu, Lianne La Havas, Laura Marling, and Tom Misch + Yussef Dayes while For Those I Love are nominated alongside Dave, Ashnikko, Pa Salieu and Rachel Chinouriri.
