Fontaines D.C. singer Grian Chatten has released his debut solo single on Partisan Records, while the band are on a downtime.
The song ‘The Score’ is a spindly moody track, accompanied by a video by Georgie Jenson,
“’The Score’ is a heavyweight bated breath of lust. I wrote it in Madrid between an electric fan and a dying plant and I intend to keep it there. It was inspired by sugar and sunset.”
Fontaines D.C. are now between touring as they return to touring in August. Since releasing their third album Skinty Fia in 2021, the band have been nomianted for an Ivor Novello, won the BRIT award for International Group of the Year and Choice Music Prize for Irish Artist of the Year.
