Franki's 'I Meant It' is like The 1975 meets chillwave from Dublin

We recently debuted the lovely summery pop of ‘Santa Monica‘ from Dubliner Franki.

Continuing the The 1975 meets chillwave vibe, his second single ‘I Mean It’ is out tomorrow and is equally adept at finessing the fine line between these two sensibilities.

The song “addresses the realisation of falling in love,” and has a strong chorus is hard to dislodge from your brain despite the lyric suggestion “to forget it”.
