Want a ticket to Electric Picnic? Then cycle or run to Stradbally for charity
Tour De Picnic is the last official way other than guestlist or playing the festival or buying a ticket from someone you know to get to Electric Picnic this year, and they are calling for the last signups for the event.
All cyclists doing the Tour De Picnic 80km cycle or the 17km run get a chance to go to the festival in return for their efforts and to raising money for three charities this year: Jack and Jill, Children’s Health Foundation and Childline by ISPCC.
The cycle leaves from Tallaght Stadium Friday 1st September, and among the group on their bike this year will be EP Festival Director Melvin Benn.
“I will be taking part in Tour de Picnic once again this year, it really is such a fantastic start to the festival weekend. A weekend of great music and entertainment awaits at the finish line – and it is one less car on the road too!”

There will be additional “Fuel stops” on the way to the Picnic where runners and cyclists can refuel with milkshakes, smoothies and other energy fuelling snacks along with water.
