That Halfset/Luke Vibert gig I mentioned a while ago is on June 30th in Kennedy’s (beside Denzille Lane and across from The Gingerman)
Thanks Sinead,
I’ve added it above.
Nice, Mr. Vibert is playing. Any idea who’s putting him on? Blackfort last time wasn’t it?
I think it’s Maximum Joy like it says on the tin.

It is Maximum Joy, which is Darren and Micky.
We brought Vibert to Dublin back in the Audiodelic days. The day after the gig the Limerick promoter was being flaky and incommunicado so Luke came back to our house, drank lemon zinger herbal tea and played with our dog for ages.
He also burned us a ton of old acid and hip hop mix CDs as a thanks for looking after him. Super nice guy.
The new Halfset stuff is sounding amazing. Now that Steve’s got the studio up and running they’re rehearsing and recording more frequently now.
Should be a top gig.
Sounds like a decent down to earth chap.
I plan on checking Halfset out sometime maybe that gig. I’ll have to wait and see how the month goes..
