GOODTIME – ‘Like A River’ (Sunken Foal remix)

The remix project for Goodtime’s The Colours Of Darkness album, Departed has been a bit good so far with tracks from David Kitt, Diamond Dagger, Tropics and the excellent Great Lakes Mystery one I didn’t get a chance to post here (OK, I forgot).

The fifth in the series may be the best yet. Sunken Foal’s pitch-shifted down vocals give this an immediate sinister edge where the original track was bright and relatively chirpy. Downbeat crunched beats and dark techno synth in the background remind me of Modeselektor. Great remix.
