Here’s the It Takes A Village timetable & map for this weekend
The East Cork festival It Takes a Village is this weekend in Trabolgan and it signals the start of the festival season with the likes of Gilles Peterson, Herbert, James Holden, Don Letts, Le Boom, Kojaque, Awesome Tapes from Africa and many more among the attractions that also take advantage of Trabologan’s facilities that mean go-karting, golf, archery, arcade, a Birds of Prey centre and tennis courts among them. Attendees stay in the chalets on site or campervans and all stages are covered or indoors.
Here’s a look at the timetable for this year. I’m DJing on Friday night at 2am and Sunday on the Boat Party alongside Bon Voyage around Cork Harbour. Tickets are a separate €25 for that.
Look out also for festival’s conversations with The Point of Everything podcast, Kevin Barry and Lisa McInerney, special performances in chalet number 25 and Gay Future in the Arcade on Sunday. There’s also the pool parties on Saturday and Sunday.
It Takes a Village happens Friday May 10th to Sunday May 12th, at Trabolgan Holiday Village in East Co. Cork.
