A limited number of discounted tickets will be sold on the door on the day of the gig with a valid student ID.
Jack White has announced a student ticket scheme for the Irish leg of his current tour, with a limited number of €20 tickets going for the two Dublin nights and £20 for Belfast.
The catch is that you cannot buy them online. White confirmed on Instagram that the tickets are available in person only, at the venue box office on the day of the show, sold on a “first come, first served basis with a valid student ID”. One ticket per ID, and each venue has its own details posted on its website.
For context on the saving: general admission for the 3Olympia shows went on sale in April at €67.70 plus fees. So this is roughly a third of the price for anyone willing to queue for the chance.

- Tuesday September 1st: 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin
- Wednesday September 2nd: 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin
The scheme also covers the two London nights at Eventim Apollo, where the tour opened on Tuesday. Bristol and Newcastle are not included. White paid tribute to Dolly Parton last night performing a cover of ‘Jolene’, as he has done in times past.
Both Dublin dates fall before most Irish colleges go back for the new academic year.
White is touring behind Frozen Charlotte, his seventh solo album, with Patrick Keeler on drums, Dominic Davis on bass and Bobby Emmett on keys.
Third Man Records is running pop-up shops around the Irish dates, taking over Hectic Records in Belfast on Monday August 31st and Tower Records on Dawson Street on Tuesday September 1st and Wednesday September 2nd, with exclusive vinyl, merch and the label’s hand screen-printed “bootleg” sleeve editions in the mix.
