Virginia’s Kid A released a soundtrack to an imaginary film called PPPONEY last year for free download. A lot of the lyrics are sung in Japanese and the whole thing comes across as a particularly odd yet strangely appealing aural journey.
‘BB Bleu’ was the most straightforward cut on the release and now remastered it has received a new lease of life. It sounds like something that may have appeared on Massive Attack’s Blue Lines if they continued making music for Tracey Thorn.
