The Totally Irish show and Barker himself has been a weekly fixture the radio landscape promoting and championing new Irish music every Sunday from 9pm to 11pm.
The show was first broadcast in 2010 and news was announced by John on Friday.
Hey. I’m sorry to announce that this Sunday night will be the last time I present Totally Irish on @98FM.

My first Totally Irish was in Jan 2010. It’s been a huge part of my life over the last 12 years and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’m really going to miss doing the show.
Irish radio has lost another outlet for new Irish music.
Listen back to the last show featuring Irish music from the last 12 years.
Best of luck to John in his future endeavours.
