Alejandro Ghersi aka Arca is a Venezuela-born New York-based producer who you have maybe more recently heard about via production credits on Kanye’s Yeezus where he helped out on four tracks.
Arca released two LPs on the UNO label last year, Stretch 1 and Stretch 2, and his music is of the ghostly distorted electronic variety. &&&&& pits 14 original compositions of his own in one track over 25 minute length. The result is an unhinged mix of futuristic-leaning uneasy beat music but one I’ve listened too three times this morning already so yeah, there’s something about this.
