The Berlin duo play Dublin on Friday November 6th, with tickets on sale this Friday.
Foggy Notions, in association with U:MACK, have announced a Modeselektor DJ set at the Button Factory on Friday November 6th 2026.
Tickets are €33 plus fees on general sale this Friday August 28th at 10am.
The same pairing of promoters brought Modeselektor to the same room for a four-hour set back in 2021, as the launch night for their Strings club series.
Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary have been at this since the early 90s, when they met through the rave scene on the fringes of Berlin. They moved into the city proper after the wall came down and ended up at the centre of a scene that included the multimedia crew Pfadfinderei, who built the visuals for the Labstyle parties the pair ran around Berlin-Mitte in the late 90s. Pfadfinderei also drew that monkey, and still handle the duo’s visual identity, from stage shows to sleeves.

Through BPitch Control and their own labels Monkeytown Records and 50Weapons, Modeselektor have a run of records that never sat still for long, the Moderat project with Apparat, and a couple of Thom Yorke collaborations. They released Classics Vol. 1 earlier this year, a set of self-reworkings we covered in the albums roundup.
Their 2005 debut album Hello Mom! remains one of the finest European electronic albums of the 2000s, and featured ‘Kill Bill Vol. 4’.
Modeselektor on record and behind the decks is a broad church: techno, bass, hip hop, jungle, whatever fits, held together by maximum pressure and a sense of the absurd.
Foggy Notions in association with U:MACK present Modeselektor (DJ set) at the Button Factory, Dublin on Friday November 6th 2026. Tickets €33 including booking fee, on sale Friday August 28th at 10am.
