The Northern Irish post-rock band’s ambition reaches larger heights with a new album that also forms part of a live multimedia show, with orchestrator Connor O’Boyle, the Arco String Quartet, and visual artist Sam Wieh.
Blondmodel – Doom, Gloom & Cheap Perfume
Debut album from Dublin electro-pop duo Blondmodel.
Broods – Space Island
New Zealand siblings Georgia and Caleb Nott’s fourth full-length album of electronic pop.
Khruangbin & Leon Bridges – Texas Moon EP
5-track companion EP to last year’s Texas Sun collaboration.
Methyl Ethel – Are You Haunted?
UK indie artist Jake Webb’s fourth album of 80s pop with electro touches. Bandcamp.
Broods – Space Island
Those guys with the trolley, the electronic equipment and songs like ‘Will You Be My Landlord?’ All songs made on the streets of Dublin in 2021. Cassette release. Buy it in Lucky’s tomorrow or Bandcamp.
Bad Boy Chiller Crew – Disrespectful
Pop, garage, dance and shouty rap from a UK bassline trio. if that bassline is Nightcrawlers‘ Push The Feelin’ On.
Blue Hawaii – My Bestfriend’s House
Seven-track mini album of electronic dance pop with “themes of love and empathy,”
Hurray for the Riff Raff – Life on Earth
Alynda Segarr’s new album is centred on “nature punk” tracks on the theme of survival for a world in flux—songs about thriving, not just surviving, while disaster is happening.
Curren$y & The Alchemist – Continuance
After collaborative albums with Armand Hammer and Boldy James, rap producer The Alchemist is at it again.
