On a new label and with a new sound, Mvula’s third album might be her most appealing to date.
Cosha – Mt. Pleasant
Formerly known as Bonzai, Dubliner Cosha releases a full-length featuring production from Emile Haynie, Koreless (Twigs) and Mura Masa with vocal contributions from Coby Sey and Shygirl.
The Go! Team – Get Up Sequences Part One
Sixth album from the Brighton indie dance mavericks.
Bobby Gillespie and Jehnny Beth – Utopian Ashes
Primal Scream and Savages singers release an album of duet covers.
Joni Mitchell – The Reprise Albums (1968–1971)
A four-disc box set of remastered unreleased material.
T-woc – Pantangle
Dublin producer featured on Irish tracks already but this six-tracker is really worth your time.
VONDA7 – Let Go
Berlin producer releases album of upbeat and fizzy electronic jams. It was out last week but recommending here via a Bandcloud discovery.
Mica Levi – Zola
Soundtrack. Zola is Janicza Bravo’s film adaptation of a viral Twitter story written by Aziah “Zola” Wells, regaling her tale of a jag to Florida with another stripper, her boyfriend and her pimp.
Snapped Ankles – Forest Of Your Problems
Those lads who wear dread twigs and make weird psychedelia are back!
Walk Then Dance – Walk Then Dance
Scotland-based Irish electronic producer Ian Goulding releases debut album.
