999 of Nialler9’s Best Songs from 2005 – 2017
As Nialler9.com is celebrated 13 years in existence in November, I’ve updated the Spotify playlist of some of the best tracks of site’s lifespan. That task was pretty momentous so I went back to through the Best Of Lists posted every year and supplemented those choices with songs from the period that I since am in love with.
The result? 999 songs, 74 hours of music including all sorts: LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, M.I.A., Grizzly Bear, Beirut, Skream, Animal Collective, Bloc Party, Burial, Yeasayer, Solar Bears, Adebisi Shank, The xx, Wiley, Todd Terje, SZA, Super Furry Animals, Shugo Tokumaru, Simian Mobile Disco, Phoenix, Passion Pit, Mount Kimbie, Kanye, Joy Orbison, Jacques Greene, Jape, Hot Chip, James Blake, J Dilla, Chromeo and much more.
These song are about as representative of this site as you can get without delving deep into the archives.
If you’re on Deezer instead, it’s split into 2 playlists – Part One / Part Two.
