O Emperor continue the funk on ‘New Fish Tank’
Cork-based alt-rock five-piece O Emperor resurfaced earlier this year after some time away from releasing music with ‘Make It Rain’ which brought a new afro-funk sound to their music.
‘Fish Tank’, from their forthcoming new album is the latest release from them and continues this new tone. The track is a hazy feast to get lost in, psychedelic guitar riffs sluggishly merged with a funky melody.
You can catch this live this weekend at Body & Soul on Saturday June 23rd at the Body & Soul stage.
Other festival appearances:
Another Love Story on August 18th
Electric Picnic on September 1st
