Rarely Seen Above Ground – ‘Falter’

With an appearance at this weekend’s Forbidden Fruit coming up and an 18 date Irish tour in progress, Jeremy Hickey has decided that now is a good time to break the recorded silence he’s maintained since last September’s ‘This Winding Sheet’ single. That track saw Rarely Seen Above Ground move back towards the propulsive end of his early discography while injecting it with some electronics and new track ‘Falter’ continues in this vein (as the pic above suggests). He says:

“This track has an electronic driven groove with a seventies feel. It’s what technology and going back to a home studio does for my way of working. It’s all about crafting.”

Tour dates:

01.06 The Sky & The Ground Wexford
02.06 Pigstock Festival, Co. Down
03.06 Forbidden Fruit, Dublin
13.07 Kinsale Arts Festival
14.07 Grand Social, Dublin
21.07 Set Theatre, Kilkenny
04.08 Spraoi Festival, Waterford
