A couple of remixes popped up of Portland, Oregen’s Hockey this week. This Filthy Dukes remix is my favourite of the two by far (the other being the Labyrinth remix).
Augmenting the funky guitar riff of the original into something more of a discoball stomp with crashing cymbals and a upfront bassline, it becomes more focused than an indie-funk jam. Hockey play the Academy on the 22nd of September. My interview with them is here.
