Sinéad O’Connor celebration gig to feature Lisa O’Neill, Soda Blonde, Niamh Regan & more
A Celebration of Sinéad O’Connor gig is to take place in Dun Laoghaire’s Pavilion Theatre.
Presented by the venue and promoters Foggy Notions, A Celebration of Sinéad O’Connor will gather Irish artists to pay tribute in song and performance to Shuhada’ Sadaqat, Sinéad O’Connor who passed away on July 26th this year.
The lineup features Lisa O’Neill, Soda Blonde, Una Mullally, Niamh Regan, Aoife Wolf, Iona Zajac and more, and it takes place on Thursday October 19th with tickets priced at €32 plus fees.
Born locally in Glenageary, Sinéad has left an eternal influence on global music culture. The outpouring of grief and gratitude from the international music community has been deeply moving but not unexpected.
At home in Ireland, Sinéad, for many people, represents change and courage – someone who fearlessly challenged and confronted many of the ills of Irish society, standing up for vulnerable communities, and constantly petitioning for a more progressive and empathetic country.
