Stormtroopers is an Irish-made Star Wars fan film with a score by a Cork producer
If filming Star Wars in Ireland is good enough for the actual franchise, then it’s good enough for a fan film.
Stormtroopers is a new fan film based on the Star Wars universe that was shot on location in Cork, Waterford and Tipperary and directed by Micheál Fitzgerald. The plot is about a platoon of Stormtroopers who raid a remote Rebel Mining outpost.
Being a fan film, it’s obviously not up to Hollywood standards in the effects department, but it’s an admirable homage to the universe and most notably also, the score was written by Cork-based producer Electric Foxx.
