The Limerick artist Strange Boy releases a new song and announces Dublin and Limerick gigs.
‘God Help Him (Seemingly He Didn’t)’ is out today.
Strange Boy, real name Jordan McNally Kelly has released the song ‘God Help Him (Seemingly He Didn’t)’ made with close collaborator Enda Gallery who sings on the track too.
‘God Help Him (Seemingly He Didn’t)’ is a sparse hymnal, informed by Irish traditional music (as much of Strange Boy’s music is) and with Strange Boy’s trademark lyrical heft. It’s a scene setting what’s to come, from forthcoming 2025 second album Say Nothin’, also produced by Gallery.
Strange Boy Gigs
Strange Boy is performing at WOMEX today in Manchester (24th October).
A Limerick album preview show takes place at The Commercial, Limerick on December 15th, offering a glimpse of the songs before they are recorded in full in the studio.
Strange Boy plays Dublin on March 6th 2025 at Whelan’s Upstairs
