Talk & conversation lineup announced for Metropolis
Metropolis have already announced an impressive lineup of music but they’re following up on the spoken word and talk element with some cool sounding events alongside it to be held in The Library and The Concert Hall in the RDS.
The lineup includes:
- Giorgio Moroder, electronic music pioneer
- Howard Marks – Mr Nice
- Sir David Rodigan, the legendary reggae and dancehall musician
- John Cooper Clarke – poet and commentator
- The Legend Of The Hacienda featuring Dave Haslam, Mike Pickering, Greg Wilson and Ben Kelly
- Academy Films A+ Panel featuring video directors Corin Hardy, Nadia, Walter Stern and Us.
- The Lighthouse Cinema Presents 24 Hour Party People & Metropolis

Only one female there, which isn’t great at all, especially as the music lineup got some flack on social media for the same reason. It’s 2015. :/
