3. Bitch Falcon – ‘Wolfstooth’
Heavy Dublin rock from a band with the best name in ages.
I don’t listen to a lot of loud guitar music anymore – I find lots of it dull and tired, but there’s something in the energy of the songs of Bitch Falcon that I like a lot. The dialing down of testosterone because three of the four members are female might help, their live show is pretty great, which helps too but ‘Wolfstooth’, the band’s first recorded song just kicks a whole load of tight rhythmic ass and that’s enough.
The band play State’s Faces of 2015 gig tonight in The Mercantile. Free in.
