The Go! Team

The Go! Team will play their 2004 debut album Thunder, Lightning, Strike in full at a 20th anniversary show this year.

The Brighton collective lead by Ian Parton’s kaleidoscopic production will play the album in full at Button Factory on Sunday Sept. 29th 2024.

Foggy Notions presents the show and tickets are on sale this Friday March 1st at 10am.

It’s 20 years since the release of The Go! Team’s debut album ‘Thunder, Lightning, Strike’ and to celebrate the band have announced a series of shows in the UK and Ireland in which they will play the album in full, kicking off on 27th September at Queens Hall in Edinburgh. These shows follow on from their recent sold out show at London’s iconic Roundhouse and a string of US dates.

The Go! Team burst onto the scene back in 2004 with their debut album ‘Thunder, Lightning, Strike’ putting the disco in discordant & red limiting the levels and emerging from a small bedroom concern in Brighton, emerged to take on the world.
Twenty years later The Go! Team, led by main man Ian Parton and firecracker MC Ninja, are still as exhilarating and life affirming as ever. They will be celebrating their genre defying debut LP with a show at the Roundhouse where they play ‘Thunder, Lightning, Strike’ in full, plus a series of shows on the West Coast playing TLS classics such as Ladyflash and Huddle Formation plus songs across their catalogue (including most recent album Get Up Sequences Part 2).
