A slightly reduced gig guide as I’m on holidays this week.
SMERZ headline Sunday at the Workman’s Club via Foggy Notions, Happy Mondays bring the 35th anniversary of Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches to Vicar Street for two nights with The Farm, and Barker brings his live electronic set at the Workman’s on Friday night courtesy of Selective Memory and Subject. Lush’s Miki Berenyi leads a trio take the Grand Social on Wednesday, Carsie Blanton and The Burning Hell play Whelan’s across Thursday and Friday, and the club programme runs deep with Midland, Moxie, Sludge Club and Catacombs all on across the weekend.
