Breaking Benjamin @ National Stadium (6:30pm)
Pennsylvania post-grunge band Breaking Benjamin play the National Stadium with Chevelle and Return to Dust in support. ‘The Diary of Jane’, ‘Breath’, ‘I Will Not Bow’ – a hefty back catalogue for fans of early 2000s alt-metal.

Antoni O’Breskey 50 Years of Music @ NCH
On the night, O’Breskey will perform with his Nomadic Piano Ensemble, featuring rising talents from the contemporary folk and traditional music scene, including his daughter, singer and fiddle player Consuelo Nerea Breschi (VARO, Landless, Rattling Ark), and multi-instrumentalist Paahto Cummins (Skipper’s Alley / Ispíní na hÉireann), alongside long-time collaborators such as piper Joe McHugh and flamenco guitarist Juan José Manzano. The concert also features a special guest appearance by the legendary accordionist Máirtín O’Connor (De Dannan), who has collaborated on many of Antoni’s recordings since the early 1980s.

Garbage @ Iveagh Gardens (outdoor)
Garbage play Iveagh Gardens on the I Hate Love Songs Tour. Shirley Manson and the band have always made a virtue of contrast – big guitars, electronic textures, brutally catchy songs about things that hurt. One of the finest outdoor venues in the city for a show of this stature.

Hibernacle Festival @ Orlagh Country House (4pm)
Hibernacle returns to Orlagh Country House with a lineup of beloved Irish musicians and some spoken word too: Lisa Hannigan, Gemma Hayes, Carsie Blanton, Wallis Bird, Stockton’s Wing, Paul Noonan, Roesy, Roisin El Cherif, Daragh Fleming // Paul Simon Graceland Turning Pirate show also happening.
