Deftones’ woozy, heavy alt-metal and IDLES’ cathartic post-punk fury make for one of the more interesting pairings on the summer outdoor circuit – two bands operating at very different intensities of heaviness.

Swedish singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson. His weathered, Dylan-indebted folk songwriting has always worked best in a room this attentive.
