Straight outta Limerick for the day that’s in it… The Rubberbandits play their chart-topper ‘Bag of Glue’. Hilarious tune.

These guys made me forget about an aero I had in my back pocket
ah the rubberbandits, brilliant crew. ‘bag of glue’ is my Irish track of the year so far…
I forgot about the cup of tea I was making, I wish I had an aero but the back pocket is no place for it.
Great stuff, excellent track.
Have a gape at “ode to awkwardness”
I laugh to hide the tears
you shoulda put this up on valentines day. what a fuckin tune
These lads are feckin geniuses. Everything they do is 1st class every time. Lets hope the mainstream start paying attention, they have been underground for too long.
“I’m unable to eat Smarties without having a panic attack? Do you have a helicopter in there as well? Having a party and laughing at me, eating lobsters?”
Ah jesus, some of that shit on the Myspace is genius. Nice one for the links.

First heard these guys back in leaving cert. They have been consistently the funniest and undoubtedly the most creative comedians working in Ireland for the past 6 years and the biggest joke of all is the amount of people that haven’t heard them yet.
Thank you nialler for being the one to attempt to finally bring these veritable geniuses into the main stream at last. I reckon with their recent foray into music they are about to get the recognition they clearly deserve.marvellous stuff , absolutely marvellous.
Cheers for the enlightenment.just checked their My space, take a listen to ‘pure awkward’ banging tune. ‘It’s a Monday I got up pure early, I showed Ice T the proper way to swing a hurley’ Roaring laughing.
Isn’t “mainstream” comedy home to painfully humourless programmes such as the panel and the roaring 20’s? If so it’s a good job that the rubberbandits have kept it underground, or whatever, till now. It’s always great to see good talent get recognition (I’ve been telling nearly eveyone I meet how funny they are), but for better or worse, I think maybe the rubberbandits would be too risque and probably too good to make an impact or whatever on the mainstream….
Fair enough mainstream Irish comedy is shit from the awful Jake Stephens to the embarrassing Panel[all of them] throw in Kilinaskuddy, and the roaring 20’s and u have a recipe for pain. But does the mainstream have to shit?

Yeah point taken… i suppose it doesnt have to be shit – maybe it’s a case of different strokes etc. in a perfect world and all that….
Fuck sorry it wasnt an aero it was a toblerone. One of the honeycomb ones.
A bag for me a bag for you…lets all get wrecked on bags o glue!
that made me shat oneself with hilarity, especially since Mase was one of my first CD purchases.
