The Youth Music Video Competition is seeking aspiring music video makers aged 18 to 23 for entries
Submissions are now open for the sixth edition of First Cut‘s Youth Music Video Competition. The annual competition offers 5 directors between the ages of 18 to 23 the opportunity to create a music video for an up and coming Irish act under the mentorship of director Brendan Canty.
Submissions are now open for the sixth edition of First Cut‘s Youth Music Video Competition. The annual competition offers 5 directors between the ages of 18 to 23 the opportunity to create a music video for an up and coming Irish act under the mentorship of director Brendan Canty.
The selected filmmakers will take part in a day-long hands-on workshop with Brendan Canty and Loclainn McKenna in January in Cork before being paired up with an artist. Previous years’ line-ups included CMAT, Pillow Queens, Ye Vagabonds and Le Galaxie to name a few.
The winning submissions will be screened at First Cut! Youth Film Festival in May 2021.
