There’s a music merch Christmas market at The Grand Social this weekend
Merchy Christmas is a one-stop-shop Christmas market selling band merch happening at The Grand Social this weekend
On the Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of December, the Grand Social in Dublin will host shops from Irish artists where you can support the artists directly by buying their merch.
Selling their goods will be:
Girl Band, Lankum, Saint Sister, Wyvern Lingo, Junior Brother, Pillow Queens, Silverbacks, CMAT, Alex Gough, Bitch Falcon, Blood Donor / Otherkin, Nealo, Paddy Hanna, The Mary Wallopers, Vernon Jane, Soft. Boy Records & Kean Kavanagh, Tandem Felix, Thumper, The Zen Arcade, Myles Manley, Let’s Set Sail, Malaki…
It is the idea of Saint Sister’s manager, Conor Cusack:
“We kept thinking about how we could create an in-person connection. After a year of living online, instead of yet another Zoom call, was there a way we could meet up (in a safe and COVID compliant way) and say thanks in person?”
It will be cash only on the day. The event is free to all, with a suggested donation of €5 to Dublin Simon Community (there will be a bucket at the entrance). The market will take place on both days (full line up and day breakdown to be announced) and will run from 11am-5pm. Everyone is welcome!
The Grand Social have confirmed the following regarding their COVID regulations: “We will be adhering to a robust COVID-19 compliance protocol at all times for this walk-through market. Hand sanitiser will be administered upon entrance to the venue, mandatory face masks will be worn by all artists and customers at all times, the venue will be well ventilated and social distancing of 2 metres will be regulated. There will be a full barista service and pizza available for take away.”
