Thundercat for second Dublin gig

After selling out his Dublin gig in March, Thundercat has added a second date.

Thundercat’s first date on Tuesday 26th March is sold out, but Stephen Bruner has added a scond one a few weeks later.

Thundercat will return to Vicar Street on April 16th for a second gig on his European tour.

Tickets are €42.70 plus fees are on sale Friday 26th January, 10am

The jazz bass and singer player has recently performed with Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Strokes, Gorillaz, and The Mars Volta in the US before taking his show to Australia, Asia, and Europe during the summer, and has collaborated with Tame Impala on ‘No More Lies’.

The show is presented by Choice Cuts.

Before then, Thundercat is on a North American headline tour shows at LA’s Greek Theatre and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

His last album was 2020’s It Is What It Is.

Thundercat covered ‘Fly Like An Eagle’ for the Minions: The Rise of Gru OST, executive produced by Jack Antonoff, and made his acting debut in Star Wars “The Book of Boba Fett” on Disney+.

Thundercat is the bassist / singer Stephen Bruner. Bruner is a GRAMMY award-winner, highly respected and much in-demand with his peers who has previously worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, N.E.R.D., Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Childish Gambino, Mac Miller, Anderson .Paak, Janelle Monáe, BADBADNOTGOOD, Moses Sumney, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Wiz Khalifa, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, Travis Scott, Little Simz, Louis Cole, and Shabazz Palaces in addition to his longtime writing partner Flying Lotus.
