Thundercat for Vicar Street Dublin gig

The news comes thick and fast this morning.

Thundercat has been announced to play Vicar Street next year – Tuesday 26th March, as part of European dates.

The jazz bass and singer player has recently performed with Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Strokes, Gorillaz, and The Mars Volta in the US before taking his show to Australia, Asia, and Europe during the summer, and has collaborated with Tame Impala on ‘No More Lies’.

Tickets are €42.70 plus fees are on sale this Friday 29th September at 10am, and the show is presented by Choice Cuts.

Before then, Thundercat is on a North American headline tour shows at LA’s Greek Theatre and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

His last album was 2020’s It Is What It Is.

Thundercat is the bassist / singer Stephen Bruner. Bruner is a GRAMMY award-winner, highly respected and much in-demand with his peers who has previously worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, N.E.R.D., Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Childish Gambino, Mac Miller, Anderson .Paak, Janelle Monáe, BADBADNOTGOOD, Moses Sumney, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Wiz Khalifa, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, Travis Scott, Little Simz, Louis Cole, and Shabazz Palaces in addition to his longtime writing partner Flying Lotus.
