Toshín learn to love themselves on the sensual funk of ‘She’

Avatar

Named as one of the best new Irish bands of 2020 by us, Toshín, the soul-pop-funk six-piece Irish band will drop a new single tomorrow to the world.

‘She’ is the followup to last year’s Get Your Life EP, a new song written in a locked down world moves the sonics of the band on into fresh territory, a sensual song about getting down with yourself, from a band who know how to get down musically.

“Loving me it ain’t be easy / It’s been a hell of a journey / Wearing the crowns not what makes me a queen / It’s the flaws and the cracks and the gaps in between,” go the lyrics to ‘She’.

“The song is really about learning to love myself before loving someone else. I’m really done with trashy men, and I’m ready to start a new chapter in my love life.” –
