Township Funk – South African kwaito house compilation

JC turned me onto this one. South Africa keeps on delivering. We’ve had Shangaan Electro, the compilation Ayobaness! The Sound of South African House amongst some kwaito interviews and here’s another similar SA house comp.

Township Funk takes it cue from the DJ Mujava song which exploded back a few years ago but the 21-track compilation proves there’s much more than Mujava going on. It was compiled by DJ QNess. Check the sampler:
