TRM will release their new album Grushy on September 6th, along with their first Irish tour in 12 years which kicks off this week.
The band have formally changed their name to TRM, and release Grushy, their eighth album on September 6th on Ten Spot Records.
We’ve previously heard two songs from the record – ‘Off The Hook’ and ‘Hidden Hands’ from the seven-track release. Today the band have shared the sticky soft melodic psych-instrumental guitar tune of ‘Tonglen’.
The song is named after the Buddhist compassionate practice that involves breathing in the suffering of others and breathing out peace and healing.
Grushy will be released on Ten Spot Records on 10″ vinyl and is TRM’s sixth record over their 25 year existence.
T.R.M – Matthew Bolger, Niall Byrne and Richard Egan – will be joined on the Irish tour by Dek Hynes and Thor Rasmussen on synth and percussion, and Paul Kenny on drums.
