Tvvins, the side project of Conor Adams (The Cast Of Cheers) and Lar Kaye (Adebisi Shank) made a hefty first impression with their debut track ‘Two Worlds’, which characterised their music as synthetic vocal-driven electronic rock. They went on to play their debut show at Hard Working Class Heroes in Bad Bobs, a set that was an energetic display of a new band featured seasoned players that left many excited at future prospects. ‘You Better’ continues that vein with a more-stomping direct track that featuring treated vocals, a more conventional rock arrangement and imbues it with some interplanetary electro sounds.
The band have just announced a gig in Dublin (Upstairs in Whelan’s) on Thursday February 27th and a gig in London (Birthdays in Dalston on February 3rd). Tickets for the Dublin show are €11 plus fees on sale Wednesday. The single, is out on February 2nd.
