UNKNWN – ‘BBY’

After their US festival jaunt and a novelty JT remix, UNKNWN are back to their own original music next month with the release of the Devil/BBY EP on June 30th via Champion Sound Music.

Chris Hanna and Gemma Dunleavy are proving to be an effective pairing as ‘BBY’, with Gemma floating on the beat “as if it were a cloud” and Chris providing some ambient styled electronics/percussion, and some subtle guitar work in among the pitched-down voices and sprawling arrangement. Despite the dense fog around this track, the pair leave an impression of a project hitting more direct. This is pretty great.

The EP will be available in a limited run of 300 hand stamped 140g blue vinyl which can be pre-ordered.
