Vampire Weekend’s new album is called Father Of The Bride & 2 songs are now out
The mystery of what FOTB, the Vampire Weekend album is over. It’s called Father Of The Bride, and hopefully it’s inspired by the Steve Martin film of the same name?
Two songs ‘Harmony Hall’ and ‘2021’ are out now to hear with the former being the basis of that 2-hour Youtube loop.
Vampire Weekend’s last album was Modern Vampires of the City in 2013 and first since Rostam left in 2016.
A release date and more info is due to drop any minute.
Danielle Haim and Dave Longstreth of Dirty Projectors feature on ‘Harmony Hall’ while Jenny Lewis sings on ‘2021’.
