The Gorgeous Colours – The Creatures Down Below EP
The Creatures Down Below is the new EP from The Gorgeous Colours and it’s certainly the best thing I’ve ever heard from the band. The band’s older and wiser sound variably calls to mind bands like Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes et al but don’t let that put you off. Honestly, a (gentle) belter.
The band play Whelan’s tomorrow (Thursday night) with support from Cloud Castle Lake. The EP was funded via 100 pledges from fans and it worked out which is really encouraging.
