Weezer announce 3Arena Dublin show as part of 2027 world tour

The band play Dublin on Wednesday May 12th 2027 with Taking Back Sunday in support, part of a run backing their new self-titled album out this August.

Weezer have announced new dates for their Gathering world tour, including a Dublin stop at the 3Arena on Wednesday May 12th 2027, with special guests Taking Back Sunday.

The tour supports Weezer’s new self-titled album, out Friday August 21st via Reprise/Warner Records, their 20th album overall. Made with Klas Ahlund and Kenneth Blume (FKA Kenny Beats), it’s the first time frontman Rivers Cuomo and drummer Pat Wilson have written the basics of a song together since the band’s debut.

Alongside the tour announcement, the band shared new single ‘C.E.O.’, which explores the passage of time “and the pressure of living up to your own inner CEO”?, joining previous singles ‘Shine Again’ and ‘We Might as Well Be Strangers’ (featuring Wednesday).

Tickets are priced at €78.75, €83.75 and €88.75, on sale Friday August 14th at 10am, subject to a 12.5% Ticketmaster service charge per ticket (max €10.50).
