Friday sees the most interesting UK MC I’ve heard in a while play his debut Irish gig. Ghostpoet is aptly named, somewhere between the conversation everyday tales of Mike Skinner and the grumbly gravitas of Roots Manuva. Check out his debut album Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam streaming at The Guardian.
Ghostpoet plays The Grand Social on Friday March 4th with support from Meljoann and DJs Scope & Fruitman. The show is being recorded for RBMA Radio too. Courtesy of Fresh & Noble I have pairs of tickets along with a copy of the album on CD to giveaway. Email [email protected] before Thursday noon to win.
