Win Tickets to Meteor Choice Music Prize
The Irish album of the year of 2012 will be decided at the Meteor Choice Music Prize live event on March 7th. It’s back in its home of Vicar Street once more and I have pair of tickets to giveaway which will see 9 of the 10 nominees play live including Wallis Bird , The Cast of Cheers, Adrian Crowley, Delorentos, Damien Dempsey, Julie Feeney, Heathers, Mumblin Deaf Ro and Windings. All those nominated albums can be heard here. It’s been good to see a couple of acts get really good coverage as a result. Windings seem to have benefitted most from what I can see in terms of interest.
This year is the second time that the public can vote for the Meteor Choice Music Prize Irish Song of the Year 2012 which includes personal favourites Le Galaxie’s ‘Love System’, SOAK’s ‘Sea Creatures’, Heathers’ ‘Forget Me Knots’ and Villagers’ ‘The Waves’. Voting can be done by hitting Facebook or texting ‘SONG’ to 0857114444 for a list of nominees. Voting closes on March 3rd.
You have til Friday to enter to win a pair of tickets to the live event by entering in the Rafflecopter below. The more voting boxes you tick, the more chance you have of winning.
