Wolf Alice have announced their biggest Belfast headline show to date, with the North London quartet set to play Custom House Square on Saturday August 29th 2026.
The show follows a huge year for the band, off the back of their fourth album The Clearing, which landed in August last year and went straight to number one in the UK.
Tickets for the Belfast date go on sale this Friday February 27th at 9am via Ticketmaster. Presale Feb 26th.
Special guests are still to be announced.
The band have been frequent visitors to Ireland over the years – see more on our Wolf Alice archive)More recently, they’ve scaled up quickly, including a run of intimate Irish dates in Cork, Limerick and Kilkenny and a full arena show at Dublin’s 3Arena late last year .
There’s a sense now that Wolf Alice have moved into that upper tier of modern guitar bands – the kind that can scale up to bigger outdoor shows.
From the bruised, grunge-adjacent rush of My Love Is Cool and ‘Moaning Lisa Smile’, through the Mercury-winning Visions Of A Life, to the widescreen intimacy of Blue Weekend, their trajectory has been one of expansion without dilution.
The Clearing feels like the natural next step again. Written in Seven Sisters and recorded in LA with Greg Kurstin, it leans into a more classic pop-rock palette – big, clean melodies, soft-focus ‘70s touches but still anchored by Ellie Rowsell’s ability to make the grandest moments feel personal.
