Abner Browns Barbershop launches a month of women in music series
Abner Browns Barbershop in Rathmines is putting on a month-long Women In Music series featuring live sets from independent Irish female musicians with support from Musicmaker and Canalaphonic.
The series of free BYOB gigs kicks off in the shop on January 16th and will also feature women in the music industry talking about their work including Cait O’Riordan (The Pogues, The Radiators, Elvis Costello), TXFM’s Claire Beck and promoter/manager Una Molloy. Donations on each night go towards The Women’s Refuge in Rathmines.
