Electric Picnic add CMAT, Lankum, Villagers, Bambie Thug and more acts to the bill

Electric Picnic has added 10 acts to the lineup for the Stradbally sold out festival this year.

The 10 acts feature three popular artists who have sold out some big outdoor gigs in Dublin this summer.

Trad doom folk band Lankum will play after headlining their own-curated In The Meadows Festival, Ireland’s country pop superstar CMAT plays after selling out Fairview Park, while Villagers adds a date at EP after Conor O’Brien’s Trinity Summer series gig this past weekend.

Also announced today are UK legends The Stranglers who are celebrating thier 50th anniversary tour, Eurovision past and present with previous winner Loreen, and Ireland’s representative this year Bambie Thug, while there are also additions for Blindboy doing a live podcast, and music from Cork rock band Cardinals, indie pop newcomers daydreamers and alt-German indie band Zimmer90.

Electric Picnic is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year at the earlier dates from 16th -18th of August.
