Happenings is honouring Sinead O'Connor and more Irish music legends in outdoor film screening series

Happenings who are known for their outdoor park screenings around Dublin, have announced a series celebrating some Irish music legends who have passed away.

There are four screenings of films overall about Sinead O’Connor, Shane McGowan, Phil Lynott and Luke Kelly, and each film will be preceded by a conversations and music hosted by Donal Dineen with guests including directors, family members and fellow musicians.


The commemorative series of screenings are in partnership with Screen Ireland and with the support of Dublin City Council, and kick off on July 26th with a screening of Nothing Compares, the documentary about Sinead O’Connor.

Remembering Sinead – one year anniversary – screening of “Nothing Compares” on the 26th of July – Merrion Square
