WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 28TH

Amnesty International/SVP Fundraiser @ Cyprus Avenue (8pm, €6)
Charity gig upstairs in the Caroline Street venue, in the midst of the building’s ongoing expansion. A young line-up includes Happy Alone, Pretty Happy, Slut Club and the IV.

THURSDAY MARCH 1ST

Liam O’Maonlaí @ Connolly’s of Leap (8pm, €15)
The Hothouse Flowers frontman and eternal Gaelgoir heads beyond the Leap for a solo show under the hammers.

Cider Wasps @ Fred Zeppelin’s (8.30pm, €tbc)
Fungarvan alt-rockers Cider Wasps take another excursion to the red room on Parliament Street, their third date in the venue since late last year. Support from Kill ’em Charlie.

FRIDAY MARCH 2ND

Willy Mason @ Coughlan’s (9pm, €16.50)
US singer-songwriter embarks on a number of Irish dates during an unending world tour. Second night after night one sold out almost immediately.

Marlene Enright @ Connolly’s of Leap (9pm, €10)
Continuing the tour for recent LP ‘Placemats and Second Cuts’, Marlene Enright partners up with poet Stephen James Smith for a special show out under the hammers.

Under:Current @ The Poor Relation (9.30pm, €10)
Dublin producer, DJ and sound-designer Lewis James heads up Under:Current’s latest instalment, with Limrock don Naive Ted and Rob & Jones in tow.

Mareena @ Cyprus Avenue (11pm, €7)
Tresor resident Mareena brings a carefully-curated selection to Cyprus Avenue for a gig with the Techno Fridays crew at Cyprus Avenue.

SATURDAY MARCH 3RD

Cosmonaut Music 1st Anniversary Gig @ The Poor Relation (6pm, €7)
The past, present and future of heavy music in Cork gets together to mark the one-year anniversary of Cosmonaut Music, the heaviosity distribution arm of Cork-based music machine Cormac Daly. That line-up in full: Rest, Bailer, We Come in Pieces, Rare Faction, Horse, God Alone and Aponym.

Wyvern Lingo @ Live at St. Luke’s (7.30pm, €20)
Bray’s finest continue their album-tour-turned-victory lap, by taking to stage in the Northside’s cathedral-turned-venue.

Willy Mason @ Connolly’s of Leap (9pm, €16.50)
Mason’s tour continues, with a Saturday night in Leap. This one’s going to fill up, too.

ALL CORES @ An Spailpín Fanach (9pm, €10)
A stacked lineup of techno, hardcore, gabber and industrial, including Irish headliners Dr. Strange and Lowtek.

The Pale @ Crane Lane Theatre (9pm, €15)
Dublin indie-pop veterans make a stop at the Crane Lane while road-testing new material, as well as breaking out some of their cult-classic singles.

Taboo @ AMP Venue (11pm, €10)
Stevie G, Grillz and Cheddar serve up hip-hop, dancehall and afrobeat for their monthly night at the Hanover Street complex.

SUNDAY MARCH 4TH

Annie Bloch & Rob Carlile @ The Kino (2pm, free)
The all-ages, alcohol-free venue continues to supply free all-ages gigs on Sunday afternoons. This week: solo singer-songwriter Annie Bloch and Rob Carlile of local outfit Cassidy Club.
