Soft Gut Song Camp is a songwriting camp put on by music industry expert Nikki MacRae and songwriter Ciaran Lavery this March.

Taking place at  Analogue Catalogue Residential Recording Studios in Newry, from March 15th to 17th, applications are now open for artists and producers across Ireland.


The weekend will be a multi-day song camp takes in the Rathfriland countryside, in a studio where albums Lankum, Brigid Mae Power, Junior Brother, King Creosote, Jeffrey Lewis, Lemoncello, The Vaselines and more have been made. It is also home to producers Julie McLarnon and Declan Legge.

Previous attendees to Soft Gut have included Eve Belle, Roe, Lemonade Shoelace, Winnie Ama,  Joel Harkin, Moon Landing, Chris Ryan (Robocobra Quartet & NewDad producer) and Reevah. 

 The fee to attend the camp is £225. Accommodation and full subsistence will be provided throughout the duration of the camp.
