Watch the recent OUCH™ Fragments Of Eternity gig at The Complex in full

OUCH OUCH
OUCH

The gig’s thematic statement said it would be “sharing memories, objects, and other curiosities from the little-known island of Athrú” – an island some claim to be found across the Irish Sea, many have asserted its position amongst the clouds, leaving others to believe it is accessible through the worship of ancient trees.”

You can now watch the entire performance from The Complex featuring all six performers at a running time of 1 hour 34 minutes.

It was a night where everyone brought their A-game with a load of bangers released and currently unreleased played from the more dance orientated DJs Sloucho, Brawni, Rory Sweeney and Rhosi (“150K” was really something), as was this as Gaeilge heft about 46 minutes in.

Spooklet and Vaticanjail’s vocal-lead performance were revelatory on the night, I’m very much looking forward to seeing them both again.

Meanwhile, Brawni has released a new song called ‘Cuinás’ today:

“I wanted to create something that felt uniquely Irish but still had that club weight,” says Brawni. “There’s a deep energy in Irish sounds—our rhythms, our voices—and I wanted to pull that into something that feels fresh in a club setting. ‘Cíunas’ is about control and release, noise and silence, tension and impact.”
